How wonderful. I found a lifelong treasure that makes me happy.

When I go out, the dignified colors that catch my eye when I enter the genkan (entrance area) instantly give me an air of elegance, no matter how rushed I am.

It makes me feel like a celebrity in an instant.

My posture straightens, my gaze elevates, and I feel as if I'm going out as a madam under a spell. When I return home, the beautiful cobalt blue and the shining gold surrounding it welcome my tired self. The threads, the fabric, glow like soft jewels.

It might sound strange to feel bliss at the entrance, but it's more than just being soothed; it truly feels like bliss.

I am neither a celebrity nor wealthy. However, after raising my children, since I turned 50, I have gradually made an effort to surround myself only with things I truly love, such as furniture, dishes, and cars.

I couldn't find an entrance mat that I truly liked. I didn't want something mediocre (because I'd quickly get bored and want to throw away things I disliked), and good ones were very expensive.
