I was born in Iran and grew up in Japan, and it has already been 24 years since I came to Japan.
My encounter with Persian carpets dates back to my childhood. My mother used to weave Persian carpets in Iran, and I grew up watching her. Even at a young age, I was impressed by their beauty and the craftsmanship of the craftsmen.
The moment I decided to seriously change this industry was when I realized that the first carpet I had purchased at a Persian carpet store, signed by Mirmehidi Atelier, was not actually genuine. I felt a strong need to do something.
Since then, I have thoroughly studied and researched what a genuine Persian carpet is, and I believe that it is my mission to use that knowledge and experience to properly convey to everyone what "a good carpet" is.
I am providing information to let everyone know about the value and charm of genuine Persian carpets. I hope that you will read the articles I have written and feel the profound depth of Persian carpets.
We will continue to do our utmost to deliver Persian carpets that will truly satisfy our customers.

I have now moved to an IT vendor and am working as a DX consultant, helping companies with business reform and system development. At the same time, I continue to have a passion for Persian carpets, and am involved in this beautiful traditional culture as a side business, partly as a hobby.

Most Persian carpets feature floral patterns and are painstakingly crafted by artisans over many months, and sometimes even years, of work.
Golestan means "flower field" in Persian. We named it with the desire to deliver beautiful Persian carpets that can be used for over 100 years to as many people as possible, likening them to flower fields, and to the long-loved Persian carpets.

All carpets are precisely inspected by our purchasing company for density, luster, color, pattern, weave, softness and feel, and we only stock carpets that meet certain quality standards.
No matter how famous the workshop's products are, if they do not meet the above inspection requirements, we will refuse to handle them.

Also, take a good look at the back of the carpet.
When deciding which products to sell, we check every detail of the underside of the carpet, down to the millimeter.
When I realized that the knots on the back side were evenly woven, with no gaps between the knots and the weft threads were so perfectly finished that they were invisible, I was so moved that I cried.
A beautifully woven carpet is the product of the weaver's many years of love.
Even if you cannot see the face of the weaver, when you touch a Persian carpet, you feel a sense of comfort, as if your heart is at peace and supported.
