工房の特徴

Pattern: A very rare geometric design and a paradise for small birds are being released into the world as a unique pattern.
Color: Many of his works are based on pale greens and blues, and he was one of the pioneers who adopted such pale colors. The colors are stable and will not fade even after decades, so you can enjoy the colors as if they were brand new. Some of the colors are plant-dyed.
Weave: A fine weave with an average of 1-1.2 million knots per square meter, they are pioneers in incorporating geometric patterns into Kumu. They place great importance on the beauty of the weave, and have produced many rare and valuable pieces that are woven precisely and evenly, with no gaps between the knots, and are said to be "beautiful on the reverse side than on the front side."
Material quality: We use carefully selected top-class silk thread, and have better quality control than other workshops, with less variation in quality.
Achievements: In 2007, she placed second in the silk category and has become increasingly well-known.

The Mirmehidi atelier is a famous carpet atelier representing Qom, one of the main production areas of Persian carpets.

Qom is the most well-known and popular place in Japan for producing gorgeous and elegant all-silk carpets. Among them, the Mirmehidi atelier is a world-renowned atelier with outstanding talent for elegant, delicate and elegant use of colors, especially pale tones. The reign of Shah Abbas (reigned 1588-1629), the fifth ruler of the Safavid dynasty (1501-1736), the most prosperous period in the history of Persian carpets, and the founder of the revival of Persia, was also the period when the basic designs of Persian carpets, which have been passed down to this day as traditional or classical patterns, were perfected.

Based on this traditional pattern, the Mirmekhidi atelier is unique in that it creates very complex yet stable compositions, especially compositions of multi-dimensional spaces that expand in complex layers, and transforms the gorgeous yet sweet main and secondary colors into intelligent, chic, and sweet tones. In addition, carpets with the name of the atelier casually woven into each part of the carpet (field, medallion, pendant, corner, border, etc.) are said to be proof that Mirmekhidi is confident in the work that was produced by the entire atelier. They are characterized by beautiful use of colors, and many of them have a unique color sense, ranging from vivid colors to pastel colors.

Regarding the famous product from the Milmehidi workshop that you gave us earlier, I ordered a wooden frame made entirely of acrylic from Shinjuku Sekaido. It arrived around the spring equinox. It shines in the morning sun and I look forward to going to work every morning. The cost of framing, including shipping, was 39,050 yen, which was cheaper than I expected.

My niece's room Mirmehidi Studio Tree of Life

Hello. It's been a while. As part of our big cleaning, we have repasted the torn shoji screens, so we are sending you a photo of the small version with the "Tree of Life" design. It was originally a 6-tatami mat multi-purpose Japanese room, but it has now been renovated and turned into a room for my niece, who is in the first year of junior high school. With the tokonoma alcove, sunken ceiling, nageshi (railed windows), and yukimi shoji (paper screens), from some angles it looks like a fairly traditional Japanese-style room. But as she is a preteen girl, her belongings are filled with TWICE, SUPREME, MILKFED, DISNEY, Ojamajo Doremi, cosmetics, etc. The carpet that was given to us naturally harmonizes with the "Japanese modern" style, the silk feels great under the feet, and is a big hit with my niece. When I told my niece that in Persia, girls of her age weave art and crafts like this to help with her dowry, it seemed to have some thought.
