Returns and Exchange Policy
Golestan accepts returns and exchanges only if the product is defective or different from the information listed. Returns due to customer's convenience are also accepted under certain conditions. Please check the detailed return policy.
We accept returns of ordered products under the following conditions:
Returns Policy
- Although we check the products before shipping, we will only accept returns if the product is found to be dirty, damaged, or defective after opening and before use.
- After opening the product, please contact Golestan immediately.
- If an item is returned without prior notification, and has been opened, it will be returned cash on delivery and will not be accepted for return.
- Please note that the cooling-off period does not apply to mail order sales.
Cases where returns are not possible
- Used carpets (if they have been stepped on or laid down)
- Items delivered more than 5 days ago
- Products that have been damaged or stained due to handling by the customer
- Returns due to differences in color or shape from the photos on the product page (excluding color changes due to the nature of silk products)
- Products marked as "non-returnable"
- Return requests from people other than the orderer
- Requests and special orders
Regarding initial defects
- If the item is damaged during delivery, please contact us within 5 days of receiving the item. If we are able to confirm the damage, we will replace the item (or repair or refund the item if it is out of stock).
Returns and exchanges due to listing errors
- If you receive a product that is clearly different from the listed information, please contact us within 5 days of receiving the product.
Example: If the carpet size differs by more than ±10cm. *Due to the nature of silk products, differences in color due to different angles are not a reason for return.
Returns due to customer's convenience
- Generally, only defective products can be returned, but we will accept returns within 3 days of receiving the product if it is unused. Please contact Golestan for more information.
- If you return the item for any reason, the refund will be made minus the shipping costs (packaging, shipping and handling fees).
- If the carpet has been stepped on or laid down it will be considered used and will not be eligible for return.
Refund Policy
- In the case of credit cards, the date of return processing will be the date of charge cancellation to the credit card company. If it falls on the closing date, it will be reflected on the next withdrawal date.
- In the case of bank transfer, the refund will be made after the return product has been received.
Important points to note when returning your item
- We are not responsible for any damage or loss during return shipping. Please make sure to return the item in adequate packaging.
