The design of this piece is mainly a combination of medallion patterns and Drakhti. Drakhti means "tree pattern" and is a pattern featuring the "tree of life," a symbol of life. The design of this piece is a rare carpet measuring 1m square, with a circular medallion "window" inside, featuring cherry blossom and plum blossom-like trees and birds.

This piece was produced by the Mirmehidi Atelier, and it is worth noting that the pattern was originally designed for the Japanese market. Currently, Mirmehidi Atelier's main clients are Arab countries, but there was a time when Japan accounted for 70% of their suppliers. Square carpets were quite popular at the time, and designs that Japanese people liked were apparently incorporated into the carpet patterns. This piece uses a design created during that period. If you look closely, you will be able to see many designs that are familiar to Japanese people of the time and today.
