Description
This rug features three medallions arranged vertically on a vibrant blue field. It combines the rustic geometric patterns reminiscent of Caucasian rugs with the intricate details of the Khorasan region.
Nomadic Gochan Style
This composition is woven by Kurdish people around the town of Gochan in the authentic eastern Khorasan region. The three large medallions and the fine floral and livestock motifs filling the spaces between them possess a rustic charm similar to Caucasian Kazak rugs. The vibrant blue background unifies the multi-colored patterns.
100% Wool, Finely Hand-Woven
The pile is wool. With approximately 320,000 knots per square meter, it is finely woven, and each motif is clearly depicted. The natural variations in the hand-woven knots add subtle shading to the surface.
Placement Guide
Measuring 128 x 180 cm, it's a medium-sized rug perfect for an entrance hall, bedside, or next to a sofa. The vibrant blue color adds an accent to the space and pairs especially well with light-colored wooden furniture.
