Description
This piece features a vibrant red background adorned with a radial geometric motif (Gombadi dome pattern). The pattern expands from the center towards the outer edge, creating a sense of movement in the space.
Toyserkan Gombadi Pattern
The northwestern Toyserkan region is a semi-nomadic rug-producing area located southwest of Hamadan Province. The Gombadi (dome) pattern is characterized by its radial geometry, and this piece embodies that traditional composition.
100% Wool, Hand-woven Presence
The pile is made of wool. With approximately 320,000 knots per square meter, the details of the radial pattern are clearly defined. The unevenness of the hand-tied knots creates a warm texture not found in machine-woven rugs.
Placement in Your Home
Measuring 156 x 280 cm, this rug is suitable for a living room of approximately 2.5 tatami mats. It can be used as a center rug in front of a three-seater sofa or under a dining table. Its vibrant red color adds a touch of elegance to any space.
