Description
This is a large Baluchi rug featuring geometric motifs spread across a deep crimson background. Their traditional designs are fully displayed on a wide canvas measuring 170 x 256 cm.
Traditional Baluchi Designs
This is a rug from the Baluchi people, who reside across eastern Iran and Afghanistan. It features a masculine color scheme based on deep crimson and dark brown, characterized by guls (flowers) and geometric motifs. Their rugs are simple yet sturdy, and their texture deepens with prolonged use.
100% Wool, Handwoven Warmth
The pile is made of wool. It's traditionally crafted by the Baluchi people, who weave it from the wool shorn from their own sheep. With approximately 320,000 knots per square meter, it's finely woven, and the outlines of the patterns are sharp and clear.
Placement Guide
Measuring 170 x 256 cm, this is a large rug that fits well as a center rug in a living room or as a focal point in a reception room. The powerful color combination of deep crimson and dark brown pairs well with chic interiors and dark wood furniture.
