Customers' comments: Framed Persian carpets from Mirmehidi Atelier, Khayyam's poems enrich my daily life

Customer Review

Regarding the masterpiece from Milmehdi Kobo that I acquired from you previously,
the custom-made wooden frame with full acrylic from Shinjuku Sekaido
arrived around the spring equinox this year.
It shines in the morning sun, making my commute to work a joy every morning.
The framing cost, including shipping, was 39,050 yen, which was more affordable than I expected.

Comment from Golestan

Thank you for sending us such wonderful photos and happy news.
It is truly an ideal place for the rug to be, with the framing from Shinjuku Sekaido completed around the spring equinox, and it now brightens your morning commute as it reflects the morning sun.
The framing cost of 39,050 yen was indeed a surprisingly good deal.
Now, regarding the meaning of the Persian poem written on the rug you inquired about.
ابر آمد و مه بر سر سبزه گریست
"The clouds exhausted the sky and cried over the vast green grass and flowers."
بی بادهٔ گلرنگ نمیباید زیست
"Without the wind, the blooming roses cannot live."
این سبزه که امروز تماشاگه ماست تا سبزهٔ خاک ما تماشاگه کیست
"Today, these blooming flowers are our place of enjoyment. Next, as long as our land (grave) is green, who will be the beholder?"
The poem is by the 11th-century mathematician and poet, Khayyam, and conveys the sentiment that one should not worry about the ways of the world but rather cherish and enjoy the present moment.
I believe that with the poem inscribed, the rug has become even more tasteful.
We look forward to serving you again.
