The design of this piece is mainly a combination of Mehrab and Drakhti patterns. Mehrab is a Persian word that means a niche in a mosque, and a niche is a recessed facility in the front wall of the interior of the mosque's prayer hall. Meanwhile, Drakhti means "tree pattern" and is a pattern featuring the "tree of life," which is a symbol of life. For people living in the dry areas of the Middle East, where much of the land is desert and there is little greenery, the "tree of life" evokes the image of a place with water, an oasis, and at the same time, there are flowers and a garden. A paradise where birds and animals gather, trees and flowers in full bloom, and small birds flying around, this is a mysterious place where animal life is born from nature, a paradise. A green environment and paradise are dreams that everyone has. Therefore, it is thought that the Mirmehidi workshop, which created this piece, was trying to express on the carpet a "mysterious space filled with dreams and hope" by combining the two patterns.
