This work by Albar Koubou is a Persian silk carpet based on a traditional Kashan pattern, with a calm color scheme of cream field color and light brown border color. Its compact size of 93 cm x 62 cm makes it an ideal design for an entrance mat.
Delicate patterns, mainly medallion/Rachak Trangi patterns, are carefully drawn by artisans. The beautiful luster unique to silk further enhances the delicate patterns and adds a sense of luxury to the space. It is also hand-woven at a high density of 1.2 million knots/square meter, making it durable and soft to the touch.
