This piece is crafted by the Meherbakhsh Workshop using Qom silk. It features a classic "lachak-o-tranj" (corner + medallion) composition, with a deep blue field and a border of the same color, adorned with a scattering of colorful flowers. The center boasts a star-shaped medallion with a radiating sun motif inside, and lachak motifs at the four corners. The intricate floral arabesques across the entire field create a rich color scheme despite its simplicity.

The Intricacy and Sheen Unique to Silk

Because it's made from fine 100% silk threads, you can discern even the smallest details: the sun motif at the center of the medallion, the flowers scattered across the field, the lachak in the four corners, and the intricate designs on the border.
