The carpet is much nicer than it looks in the pictures. In the pictures it looked colorful and flashy, but in reality it has a cool look with a black base. I was impressed by how smooth and gentle it felt to the touch. The pattern is delicate and the black and blue tones bring out the yellow, making it an exquisite, modern design that does not overwhelm the rest of the design. I am in my early 30s and have little experience with carpets, but I would say that I like modern carpets.
