This is a handmade craft, related to Persian carpets, that has been continuously woven in northern Afghanistan. The geometric patterns, based on a three-color scheme of red, navy, and cream, reflect the region's rustic aesthetic. This piece is based on that tradition.

100% Wool, Hand-Woven Presence

The pile is wool. With approximately 320,000 knots per square meter, the outlines of the geometric patterns are clearly defined. The unevenness of the knots, characteristic of hand-weaving, creates a warm texture not found in machine-made rugs.
