Bakhtiari Rose Pattern

This is a rug from the Bakhtiari tribe, who lead a semi-nomadic life in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province in the central-western region. The composition with a single rose in the center and small floral wreaths in the four corners is a modern design influenced by European floral patterns, and locally it is also called "Gol-e Sorkh" (Red Rose).

100% Wool, Hand-woven Presence

The pile is wool. With approximately 180,000 knots per square meter, even the outlines of the rose petals are clearly depicted. The variations in knots, characteristic of hand-weaving, create a rustic warmth that machine-made rugs lack.
