Nain, a small city in central Persia, is a relatively new traditional production area that began in the early 20th century. However, it quickly established itself as a prestigious name in Persian rugs due to its light background colors and intricate weaving. It is known for its elegant color schemes, primarily using pale blues and ivories, making it easy to match with modern interiors.

With approximately 350,000 knots per square meter, the outlines of the patterns are clearly defined. The rug is constructed by knotting wool pile adorned with silk, so when the silk catches the light, the patterns emerge.
