Nain, a small city in central Persia, is a relatively new traditional weaving center, having begun in the early 20th century. However, it quickly established itself as a prestigious name in Persian rugs due to its light ground colors and intricate weaving. It is characterized by an elegant color scheme based on pale blues and ivories, and is known for being easy to integrate into modern interiors.

With approximately 320,000 knots per square meter, the outlines of the patterns are clearly defined. It is durably constructed with wool piles knotted in place. The variations in knots, characteristic of hand-weaving, add subtle expressions to how light reflects off the surface.
