Spread out in the reception room, an oval medallion emerges in the center of a vibrant field where pink, turquoise, lavender, and coral intertwine. A deep navy border, like a frame, tightens the whole, creating a scene like a slice of an underwater paradise.

Noori Workshop's Marine World Medallion

This piece is from the Noori Workshop, renowned for its color sense among Qum silk producers. The representative himself was captivated by it, selecting it for the "Collection of Rare Masterpieces," as it would be extremely difficult to acquire another of the same quality. As its name "Marine World" suggests, it combines the classical Lachak-o-Toranj (corner & medallion) composition with a colorful field reminiscent of an underwater paradise. The scene is composed of a central oval medallion, lachak in the four corners, flowers scattered across the field, and a navy border.

The Intricacy and Luster Unique to Silk

Because it is 100% fine silk, you can distinguish the intricate flowers in the center of the medallion, the outlines of the lachak in the four corners, and even the continuous floral pattern of the border. The diverse colors shift as if breathing with the angle of light, and the deep luster of the silk is a characteristic expression unique to silk.
