When placed in your living room or on a wall, a mihrab-style arch rises in the center of the deep olive green frame, beneath which a mystical Tree of Life emerges. Countless small flowers are scattered around the tree like stippling, revealing the color and shape of each individual blossom the closer you look.

Esfahagi Workshop's Mystical Tree of Life (Field of Water and Flowers)

This is an original "Water and Flower" silk piece from the Esfahagi Workshop, made with Qum silk. The composition features a mihrab-style arch in the center, with the mystical Tree of Life extending beneath it, and the entire ground filled with countless small flowers. The stippled flowers are dyed in dozens of different colors, with the dominant color changing depending on the viewing angle. A pair of small birds are perched on the arch, while the border features a continuous pattern of intricate flowers, and a deep olive green unifies the diverse colors.

The Luster and Intricacy of 100% Silk

Because it is 100% silk, the details become more apparent the closer you look, from the mihrab's ornamentation and the tips of the Tree of Life's branches to each individual small flower scattered on the ground and the continuous floral pattern of the border. The luster of the silk changes with the angle of the light, and the stippling of diverse colors sparkles, which is the true essence of Qum silk.
