Peacock Feather Vase Pattern by Amir Workshop

This is a piece from the Amir Workshop, known even among Qum rugs for its vivid colors. A golden vase (ghoordan) is placed in the center, from which intricate leaves reminiscent of peacock feathers and countless flowers emerge. Surrounding the vase is a star-shaped, interwoven patchwork ground pattern, geometrically combining pink, navy, red, and pale blue. This is a unique composition that reinterprets classic vase motifs with a striking sense of color.

The Intricacy and Luster Unique to Silk

Because it's made of 100% fine silk threads, every detail is discernible: the "eye" pattern on the peacock feathers, the vase's ornamentation, and each individual rose blooming in the border. The pale blue shimmers with the angle of the light, and the golden vase quietly emerges.
