When unfurled in the reception room, a pattern of colorful flowers filling a circular design continuously repeats across a deep red ground, with a small eight-petaled medallion centered in the middle. The unique geometry of the "Chadori," a combination of circles and straight lines, creates a scene that evokes both movement and tranquility.

This is a work from the Mir Mehdi workshop, known for its delicate weaving among Qum silk carpets. The rare geometric pattern called "Chadori" combines circular shapes with linear elements, creating a composition that evokes both movement and tranquility. The field is a deep crimson, and the border is in the same color, with colorful floral circles scattered across the entire surface. By using a wide variety of colors, the intricate details within each floral circle stand out.

The Intricacy and Luster Unique to Silk

Because it is woven with fine 100% silk threads in a dense weave, the tiny flowers in the center of each floral circle, the outline of the circles, and the intricate decorations of the border are all discernible. The deep red darkens with the angle of the light, and the colorful floral circles emerge like jewels—an expression unique to silk.
