This is a work from the Albar Workshop, highly regarded for its color sense among Qum silk products. It features a classical "mihrab" arched composition with a vase (gol-dan) in the center, two peacocks facing each other on either side, and multi-colored flowers blooming across the entire frame. This piece, which features the theme of a vase and birds symbolizing the paradise "Behesht" in ancient Persia, is accentuated by a black border.

The Intricacy and Luster Unique to Silk

Because it's 100% silk with fine threads, you can discern the outline of the vase, the tail feathers of the peacocks, the gradations of the flower petals, and even the minute continuous flower patterns on the border. The diverse colors shift as if breathing with the angle of the light, and the black border sinks deeply—a characteristic expression of silk.
