Two "mehrab (prayer arch)" shaped arches are arranged side-by-side on a gold/light brown field, with a pair of vases (goldan) placed beneath them. The composition replicates a Persian architectural prayer area directly onto the rug, and the upper section features decorations reminiscent of the domes of ancient ruins. This is a unique piece that expands upon the classic vase motif with architectural elements.
