When placed at the entrance, an eight-petaled star medallion floats in the center of a deep gray background, quietly bordered by turquoise cloud bands. A thin band at the top subtly weaves in a Persian signature, tightening the piece like a workshop's seal.

Among Qom silk products, this is a work by a prestigious workshop, globally recognized for its tradition and elegance. On a deep gray background, an eight-petaled (mandala-like) star medallion is placed in the center, with small pendant patterns resembling lamps hanging above and below. The area around the medallion is outlined with turquoise cloud bands and filled with intricate ivy and small flowers. This piece reinterprets the classic Lachak-o-Toranj (corner and medallion) pattern with a subdued gray background.

Intricacy and Luster Unique to Silk

Only with 100% fine silk threads can one discern the overlapping eight petals, the outline of the pendants, and even the fine gold lines of the cloud bands. The deep gray takes on a bluish tint depending on the angle of light, and the turquoise stands out, a characteristic expression of silk.
