This piece is from the Mir Mehdi workshop, known for its delicate weaving among Qom silks. The representative himself fell in love with it and selected it for the "Rare and Hard-to-Obtain Masterpieces Collection," deeming it extremely difficult to acquire another of the same quality. It combines the classical Lachak-o-Toranj (corner and medallion) composition, named "Jozan," with a color scheme centered around a gentle, plant-dyed pink. The warm pink, difficult to achieve with chemical dyes, intertwines with the luster of the silk to emit a soft glow.

Silk's Unique Detail and Luster

Only with 100% fine silk threads can one discern the intricate flowers in the center of the medallion, the outlines of the Lachak in the four corners, and even the continuous floral pattern of the border. The pink gains luster with the angle of light, and the copper-colored border stands out, a characteristic expression unique to silk.
