Jamshidi: A Distinguished Persian Carpet Family — Natural Dyes and Four Lineages
The Jamshidi family is synonymous with Qom silk carpets. Mohammad is the head of the family, known for his vegetable dyes; his son Masoud, nephew Abbas, and another relative, Jafar, also produce carpets. Though they share the same surname, their dyeing methods and colors differ across these four lineages.
