About the Arbalu Workshop

History of the workshop. The Arbalu Workshop is a silk Persian carpet workshop based in Qom. It rose to prominence within the tradition of Qom silk carpets and is now known as one of the prestigious workshops that produce high-quality carpets. Its works are often accompanied by a certificate of quality, and its brand management is thorough. The workshop's techniques. The carpets of the Arbalu Workshop use the finest silk and are finished in vivid colors with dyeing techniques that make the most of natural dyes. The weaving density is extremely fine, at 1 to 1.2 million knots per square meter, and they are created by skilled artisans who have undergone many years of training. They are characterized by a smooth, supple texture and a finish that is precise down to the finest detail, boasting a level of refinement worthy of works of art. Representative designs. The workshop's designs are based on the traditional medallion-and-corner layout, with its own arrangements such as vase patterns, paisley patterns, and dome patterns. The beauty of its colors is especially striking, ranging from traditional colors such as deep navy and emerald green to soft pastel shades, combining splendor and dignity with a distinctive sense of color coordination. The Workshop's Signature

In large-sized carpets, "(Qom Arbalu)" is woven like a pattern in a beautiful Persian script within the intricate design. This is not mere decoration, but an important element that proves the carpet's authenticity and provenance. A national flag is woven into the background of the signature. This emphasizes that the carpet is part of an authentic traditional craft and expresses the cultural value that Persian carpets hold. In small-sized carpets, only the workshop name "Qom Arbalu" is woven in a beautiful Persian script.

Features of Color and Pattern

The carpets of the Arbalu Workshop are characterized by graceful designs that, based on the traditional medallion-and-corner composition, are adorned with delicate floral patterns and arabesques. The colors, in addition to traditional shades such as deep navy, emerald green, and wine red, also adopt soft pastel tones, and the sheen of the silk enhances their beauty. There are also the workshop's own vase patterns and paisley patterns, making them masterpieces in which traditional beauty and a modern sensibility are splendidly blended.
