History of the workshop
Albar Atelier is a silk Persian carpet workshop based in Qom, Iran. It has distinguished itself in the tradition of Qom silk carpets, and is now known as one of the prestigious workshops producing high-quality carpets. Quality certificates are often included, and brand management is thorough.
Workshop Techniques
The carpets of the Arbal Atelier are made from the finest silk and are finished in vibrant colors using dyeing techniques that make use of natural dyes. They are extremely densely woven, with 1 to 1.2 million knots per square meter, and are made by skilled craftsmen who have undergone years of training. They are characterized by a smooth, supple texture and a precise finish down to the smallest detail, and boast a level of perfection on a level comparable to that of a work of art.
Representative Design
The studio's designs are based on traditional medallions and corners, with unique arrangements of flower vase patterns, paisley patterns, dome patterns, etc. The beauty of the colors is particularly striking, and the unique color sense combines elegance and dignity, from traditional colors such as dark blue and emerald green to pale pastel colors.
Factory production area
The workshop is located in Qum in central Iran. Qum is famous as a major producer of Persian carpets, especially silk carpets, and excellent craftsmanship has been passed down in the dry climate and rich culture. Albar Workshop continues to produce the highest quality silk carpets here while preserving the traditions.
