This piece is from the Albal Workshop, known for its intricate weaving among Qum rugs. A large oval medallion is placed on a green field, with a sunburst-shaped radial structure inside. The field is filled with delicate floral patterns, and roses blooming from large vases (gordaan) are depicted in the four corners. Furthermore, a Persian inscription is woven into the border, preserving the mark of the workshop and the weaver. This is a piece that adds depth and narrative to the classic medallion composition.
