When unfurled in a reception room, classical medallions emerge from a field where a myriad of colors intersect. The mixed-pink border frames it like a picture, and the transparent colors unique to natural dyeing, interwoven with the luster of silk, emit a soft light.

Botanically Dyed Medallion from the Mohammad Jamshidi Main Line

This is a special piece, dyed with 100% Qom silk using natural dyeing methods preserved only by the Mohammad Jamshidi main line. The proprietor himself fell in love with it, and it has been selected for our "Hard-to-Acquire Masterpieces" collection, as obtaining another piece of the same quality would be exceedingly difficult. It combines the classical Lachak-o-Toranj (corner & medallion) composition with the diverse colors of natural dyes and a mixed-pink border. The transparency and depth unattainable with chemical dyes give the entire carpet a breathing expression.

The Intricacy and Luster of Silk and Natural Dyes

Precisely because it is woven tightly with 100% silk and natural dyes, you can discern the intricate flowers in the center of the medallion, the outlines of the Lachak in the four corners, and even the continuous floral pattern of the border. The diverse colors subtly shift with the angle of the light, and the deep sheen of the silk is also an expression unique to natural dyeing. As time passes, the colors will mellow, and its charm will deepen with age.

The 105x145cm size is perfect as an accent rug in the living room, a centerpiece in the reception room, for a study or bedroom, or framed as a wall hanging. The combination of diverse colors and pink goes well with both white walls and wooden floors, adding brilliance and elegance to any space.
