La alfombra roja se asienta en la entrada, con un medallón de roseta dorada en el centro de un fondo rojo ardiente y un borde negro que le da un toque potente. Es una alfombra clásica tradicional, donde el contraste entre el rojo y el negro añade un toque de formalidad y lujo al espacio.

Medallón del Taller Sedighian (Lachak o Toranj)

Esta es una obra del taller Sedighian, un fabricante de alfombras de seda de Qom. La composición clásica, que consta de un medallón central (toranj) y esquinas (lachak), se combina con los colores más potentes: un rojo ardiente y un negro intenso. El medallón central tiene un contorno ondulado, con pequeñas rosetas doradas y flores intrincadas en el interior, y decoraciones lachak doradas sobre un fondo negro en las cuatro esquinas. El borde presenta una serie de flores verdes y amarillas sobre un fondo negro, lo que la convierte en una pieza que condensa la formalidad de la tradición.

El intrincado detalle y el brillo de la seda

Gracias a los hilos finos de seda 100%, se pueden distinguir las flores dispersas en el fondo rojo, la roseta dorada en el centro del medallón y las intrincadas flores en el borde. El rojo se profundiza y el dorado se eleva según el ángulo de la luz, un efecto exclusivo de la seda.
