History of the workshop
Sedighian Workshop was founded in 1973 by a family with a long tradition in the carpet industry. Its founder, Mohammad Sedighian, was known as one of the leading carpet designers of his time. Mohammadreza Sedighian has been familiar with the industry since childhood and has gained a wealth of experience. In 1996, he began to make carpets in earnest, learning special techniques from the master craftsman Jamshidi's workshop.
Characteristics of the workshop
What makes Sedighian carpets special is their quality and artistry. All carpets are made from carefully selected high-quality materials, and pursue a harmony of traditional designs and beautiful colors. They are also hand-woven with pure silk threads, achieving outstanding artistry that meets international standards. This is the greatest appeal of Sedighian carpets.
Innovation and Development
In 2016, Sedighian Gallery underwent further innovation. It focused on developing new designs and actively recruited talented artisans to create works that combine traditional techniques with modern arrangements. As a result, the gallery's unique designs have attracted much attention, and both new and old works, which are sold in limited quantities, have been highly praised.
Today, Sedighian's works are not only loved within Iran, but also in many parts of the world, including Europe, East Asia, and the Arab Gulf countries.
