When laid at the entrance, a multi-colored sun medallion appears on a turquoise (bluish-green) ground, with ornate gold lachak (corner ornaments) spreading out at the four corners. At the bottom is the weaver's signature in Persian. It is a piece where vibrancy and elegance coexist.

This piece is from the Ashraf workshop, known for its delicate use of color even among Qom silk carpets. It combines the classical "Lachak o Toranj" (corner + medallion) composition with a turquoise field and ornate gold corners. In the center is a multi-colored sun medallion, with small rosettes inside, and large lachak arranged symmetrically at the four corners. At the bottom is the weaver's signature, making it an authentic product of the workshop.

The Precision and Luster Unique to Silk

Because it is made of 100% silk with fine threads, you can discern the sun medallion in the center, the intricate arabesque patterns on the ground, the gold ornaments in the four corners, and even the continuous floral patterns on the border. Depending on the angle of the light, the turquoise takes on a bluer hue and the gold stands out, a characteristic expression of silk.
