This is a work from the Mirmehdi workshop, known for its delicate use of color even among Qum rugs. On a blue-green (turquoise) field, large red roses, yellow roses, and small purple flowers are intricately woven, with vines and leaves of the Tree of Life extending horizontally and vertically between them. Without a large medallion in the center, the entire field is configured as a single flower garden, showcasing Mirmehdi's unique and stylish sensibility. When the owner first saw it locally, they were drawn to the contrast between the transparency of the blue-green and the red of the roses, and chose it.
