Alborz Workshop Floral Medallion

This piece is from the Alborz workshop, known for its delicate use of color even among Qum rugs. It features an oval medallion in the center, with smaller petal-shaped medallions inside it. The entire field is densely covered with small pink and red flowers, a classic composition known as "Gol-e Riz" (sea of flowers). The field is a blue-green (turquoise) background, and the borders are a deep green, creating a harmonious whole. It's a modest yet profound piece, with intricate floral patterns standing out against the calm colors.
