It features a delicate yet beautiful lilac (pale purple) field, a color difficult to achieve with chemical dyes, with a deep indigo medallion centered and a golden sun emblem inside. This piece combines the classical Lachak o Toranj (corner & medallion) composition with the tranquil colors unique to vegetable dyes.

Because it's woven with 100% silk and vegetable dyes into a dense fabric, you can discern the fine gold lines of the medallion, the intricate flowers in the four corners, the continuous floral patterns of the border, and even the small animals hidden at the edge of the fringe.
