The southern Abadeh region is a traditional production area located between Shiraz and Isfahan. The composition of a small medallion on a cream field with pendant ornaments extending above and below is characteristic of this region's designs.

100% Wool, from their own sheep's wool

The pile is wool. With approximately 180,000 knots per square meter, the details of the medallion and the outlines of small motifs are clearly defined. The unevenness of the knots, characteristic of hand-weaving, creates a depth that machine-woven rugs cannot replicate.
