Tabriz, an ancient city in the authentic northwestern region, is a production center whose name has appeared most frequently in the history of Persian rugs. Centered around the grand bazaar and numerous workshops, the intricate weaving that inherits the tradition of court decoration continues to be passed down even today. This rug is a classic design woven in the Tabriz workshop lineage.

The natural variations in the hand-tied knots create subtle expressions in how light interacts with the surface.
