Description
Display it in your entryway, and a gold frame will emerge from the deep red background, revealing small birds scattered across the flower garden within. The more you look, the more birds appear, creating a paradise-like scene.
Mirmehdy Workshop's Garden of Flowers and Birds
This is a creation from the Mirmehdy Workshop, known for its delicate weaving among Qum rugs. On a dark red field, a gold rococo arabesque frame is woven, and within it are scattered roses, vines, and numerous small birds (peacock-like and blue birds). Named "Garden of Flowers and Birds," this composition combines European decorative sensibility with the Persian paradise theme.
The Intricacy and Luster Unique to Silk
Only with 100% silk's fine threads can one discern the curves of the frame, the petals of the roses, and even the feathers of the small birds. The way the deep red subtly changes its expression with the angle of light is also unique to silk.
For an Entrance Mat or a Wall Hanging
62x90cm is a standard size for an entrance mat. Many people also frame it as a wall hanging. Because silk is tightly woven, it repels fine dust, is less prone to static electricity, and daily maintenance only requires vacuuming.
A unique piece selected from Qum. You can see the actual luster and the details of the hidden birds in the video. Golestan, Persian Carpet Specialty Store.

Colours That Shift With the Angle
Thanks to the silk's sheen, the rug's character shifts with the viewing angle and the light.
