Hello there 😃
It's been a while.
I hope you're doing well despite the scorching heat every day 🥵.
I recently bought a new sofa.
I love my favorite rug so much that I always want to feel it,
so instead of placing it on the floor, I'm using it on the sofa (heart).
The color in the foreground is a bit hard to see due to the lighting, but it's the same blue, giving it a great sense of unity 👍❣️.
It's wonderful to always be able to touch my two favorite pieces.
I've just started trying out this new setting.
If I get another idea 💡 and change things around,
I'll take pictures and send them to you.

I decorated the hallway with it. There isn't much distance, so it's hard to appreciate it from afar, but I'm happy that I can feel the soft texture of the silk carpet every time I pass by ( ◠‿◠ )♪.
It's also fun how the color changes dramatically depending on the viewing angle from the right or left. I think this design is a magnificent work of art. I can look at it forever. Thank you for the wonderful carpet.
It's not framed. I'll send you pictures of the process and the whiteboard from a 100-yen shop.
The width of the carpet was almost exactly the same as the board, so I used two layers of 10mm thick boards, placing them on the baseboard. I used 5 boards x 2 = 10 boards up to the ceiling height and cut down the height.
I glued two styrofoam boards together with adhesive, connected them with tape, then bought wallpaper with the same pattern as the wall, pasted it on, and fixed it to the wall with thin nails.
It was about 225mm in height after cutting five 450mm sections. The carpet was quite heavy, so it tended to sag forward, making it essential to fix it to the wall with nails. The nails were 16mm.
The wallpaper was cut at the wall surface, covering the sides. (The pins visible on the surface in the image are temporary.) My biggest concern was how to secure the carpet. I used plenty of double-sided tape, both vertically and horizontally, to secure it firmly.
Without this, I might have had to use thumbtacks...!?. After that, I also tidied up the edges, secured them on top of the double-sided tape, and covered them with a surface film to prevent dirt.
I can touch the surface of the carpet with my hand, and it's not as over-the-top as framing, and it's neatly decorated on the wall, so I'm quite satisfied (^^)v! The panels were 10 for 1000 yen. The wallpaper was about 2.5m? How much was it? The adhesive for styrofoam was also 100 yen. The wallpaper was mixed with wood glue... The nails were about 200 yen... The double-sided tape was a bit expensive... a few thousand yen? Probably less than 10,000 yen. Maybe a little over 5,000 yen...? It requires effort and a bit of DIY know-how, or rather, a strong determination to make it work!
Now I can touch and admire this lovely carpet every day, which is the best. My hard work paid off! It's amateur work, but I hope it's helpful ( ◠‿◠ ).

Good evening. It's not perfectly set up yet, but I've already displayed the rug. ^_^
Once I can arrange it more properly, as the surroundings are a bit cluttered, including how I photograph it,
I'll upload it to the internet.
The texture is truly smooth, and the colors and patterns are wonderful! ^_^
I hope to cherish and use it for many years to come.

Good morning, Golestan. Thank you for sending the package with such meticulous care.
I tried it in front of the Kawashima Selkon Kelmscott Tree pattern curtains. This is an English design by William Morris's daughter (1891), and since it's the same tree of life motif, I was a little apprehensive about whether it would blend in or clash.
Although not visible in the picture, the white wallpaper is Lilicala's Aviary, an English motif (from 1900 onwards) with birds and flowers scattered throughout. The lace is Morris's Willow Bough (1887), which seems to go well with anything.
Indeed, by placing it in the center of the room, a little distance from the curtains and furniture, it harmonized beautifully. However, I can't capture that scene well with a pulled-back shot. If I try to include the whole thing, the angle distorts, and the impressive scale is completely lost.
As for the other silk rug, I intended to examine how that blue would glare under sunlight, but I ran out of time yesterday. I've learned quite a bit and I'm confident I can take good photos, so please bear with me for the web-ready ones for now. This time, please accept this as a report of its arrival and my thanks. (I'm considering the blue silk rug for a guest room in my niece's Japanese-style room, or as a tapestry in this living room.)
I've always used various types of unscented Mr. Lloyd products because they are excellent for preventing yellowing and mold.
Thank you for your careful instructions.
Thank you for everything.
