ペルシャ絨毯シルク ミルメヒディ工房 壁掛け

Customer Feedback

I decorated the hallway with it. There isn't much distance, so it's hard to appreciate it from afar, but I'm happy that I can feel the soft texture of the silk carpet every time I pass by ( ◠‿◠ )♪.

It's also fun how the color changes dramatically depending on the viewing angle from the right or left. I think this design is a magnificent work of art. I can look at it forever. Thank you for the wonderful carpet.

It's not framed. I'll send you pictures of the process and the whiteboard from a 100-yen shop.

The width of the carpet was almost exactly the same as the board, so I used two layers of 10mm thick boards, placing them on the baseboard. I used 5 boards x 2 = 10 boards up to the ceiling height and cut down the height.

I glued two styrofoam boards together with adhesive, connected them with tape, then bought wallpaper with the same pattern as the wall, pasted it on, and fixed it to the wall with thin nails.

It was about 225mm in height after cutting five 450mm sections. The carpet was quite heavy, so it tended to sag forward, making it essential to fix it to the wall with nails. The nails were 16mm.

The wallpaper was cut at the wall surface, covering the sides. (The pins visible on the surface in the image are temporary.) My biggest concern was how to secure the carpet. I used plenty of double-sided tape, both vertically and horizontally, to secure it firmly.

Without this, I might have had to use thumbtacks...!?. After that, I also tidied up the edges, secured them on top of the double-sided tape, and covered them with a surface film to prevent dirt.

I can touch the surface of the carpet with my hand, and it's not as over-the-top as framing, and it's neatly decorated on the wall, so I'm quite satisfied (^^)v! The panels were 10 for 1000 yen. The wallpaper was about 2.5m? How much was it? The adhesive for styrofoam was also 100 yen. The wallpaper was mixed with wood glue... The nails were about 200 yen... The double-sided tape was a bit expensive... a few thousand yen? Probably less than 10,000 yen. Maybe a little over 5,000 yen...? It requires effort and a bit of DIY know-how, or rather, a strong determination to make it work!

Now I can touch and admire this lovely carpet every day, which is the best. My hard work paid off! It's amateur work, but I hope it's helpful ( ◠‿◠ ).

Thank you for your purchase and for sharing the detailed report of your work. Your idea of integrating the Mir Mahdi workshop piece directly into the wall instead of framing it, and placing the silk, whose expression changes with the angle every time you pass through the hallway, within reach, truly brings out the greatest charm of a silk carpet. The procedure of finishing it with panels and double-sided tape is a boldness that we could hardly suggest ourselves, and we will certainly keep it in mind. We look forward to your continued patronage.

Customer Feedback

I thought about various places to display them, but

since I don't have much space,

I reluctantly placed them on the wall next to the landing on the second floor of the staircase.

Since all three pieces have their own unique character, if you ask me which one I like,

I can only answer that I like them all.

I am truly satisfied with myself, thinking "I really made a good purchase (^ω^)!!"

When I reach the top of the second floor, the warm comfort makes my feet even brighter.

Until now, I had paintings hanging haphazardly around the room, but by displaying Persian rugs and changing the angle and position from which I view them, my home has become a renewed and cozy place.

I am truly grateful for everything, and I thank you very much.

I would like to participate again if I have the chance,

but for today, I will take my leave.

Thank you for purchasing three items and for your warm feedback.
After much consideration about where to display them, your choice of the wall next to the staircase landing is truly wonderful, as it creates a flow where your eyes meet the rugs the moment you reach the top.
We were also delighted to read that you love all three unique patterns without having to pick just one.
I believe it is the power of Persian rugs that when the main focus of a room shifts from paintings to rugs, the atmosphere of daily life also changes slightly.
We sincerely look forward to serving you again.
