Description
When displayed at the entrance, the large boteh (paisley) on the blue background immediately catches the eye. Upon closer inspection, you'll discover small flowers and animals woven within the boteh itself, making it a piece that reveals more the closer you look.
Alborz Workshop's Grand Boteh (Paisley)
This piece is from the Alborz Workshop, known for its bold designs even within Qom. A single large boteh (paisley pattern, "boteh" in Persian) is boldly placed in the center of a blue field, with delicate flowers and birds woven inside it, and a dense array of multicolored flowers woven into the surrounding field. It's a stylish piece that reinterprets classic boteh patterns into a modern composition.
The Intricacy and Sheen Unique to Silk
Only with 100% fine silk threads can the curves of the boteh, the tiny motifs within, and the outlines of the surrounding flowers be so clearly discerned. The way the blue subtly changes expression with the angle of the light is also a characteristic unique to silk.
For Doormats or Wall Hangings
60x90cm is a standard size for doormats. Many people also frame them as wall hangings. Since silk is tightly woven, it repels fine dust and is less prone to static electricity, requiring only vacuuming for daily care.
A unique piece selected from Qom and brought to you. You can see the actual sheen and intricate details in the video. Golestan Persian Carpet Specialty Store.

Colours That Shift With the Angle
Thanks to the silk's sheen, the rug's character shifts with the viewing angle and the light.
