This piece is from the Masoud Jamshidi Workshop, renowned for its Qom silk carpets. Following the "Golriz" composition, a central golden sun medallion is enveloped by deep blue cloud-shaped medallions, which are then surrounded by light brown spandrels. Vases (Goldani) rise from the sarla chak above and below, with small birds gathering around the flowers. Silhouettes of deer and peacocks are hidden in the spandrels, and the border features a continuous pattern of colorful vines and flowers, with a signature cartouche at the top.

Luster and Detail of 100% Silk

Because it is 100% silk, the more you approach it, the more details become visible, from the sun medallion in the center to the vases and small birds in the sarla chak, the small animals hidden in the spandrels, and the intricate continuous flower pattern on the border. The luster of the silk changes with the angle of the light, revealing a contrast between deep blue and gold, which is the true essence of Qom silk.
