This is a creation from the Albar workshop, known for its bold use of color among Qum rugs. A large turquoise blue diamond medallion is centrally placed on a dark green field, with an intricately woven sunburst radial structure within it. Large boteh (paisley) motifs are arranged in the four corners and along the top and bottom edges, unified by the contrast of green, blue, and red. This rug reinterprets the classic medallion composition with a modern flair through its strong color scheme.
